Driftless Glen Single Barrel - REVIEW

Driftless Glen

Bourbon | Single Barrel | Cask Strength

Selected by Dusty Barrel Spirits & Wine

Aged 6 Years | 120 Proof

Mash Bill: 60% Corn • 20% Rye • 20% Malted Barley

Distilled in Baraboo, Wisconsin

Six years, 120 proof, 60/20/20, Baraboo. Equal rye and malted barley at 20% each is the house move.

Nose

Characteristic sweetness, with subtle clove and cinnamon joining rather than leading.

Palate

The same pairing: sweetness first, then subtle clove and cinnamon. At 120 proof it has weight. Accents, not a spice bomb.

Finish

The producer doesn’t print a separate finish line. What carries is sweetness with subtle clove and cinnamon as the 120-proof warmth fades.

Overall Impression

A quieter spice profile than a high-rye Kentucky dump — clove and cinnamon, not a long baking-spice list.
