Nose
Rye spice first, then soft, leathered cherries. Edge and a darker, worn-in sweetness.
Palate
Smoked caramel leads, then vanilla and honey. At bonded 100 proof the heat is controlled. Rye spice from the nose echoes underneath.
Finish
Smoky oak and brown sugar — wood, then dark sweetness.
Overall Impression
A sweet-and-spice bonded bourbon: rye spice and leathered cherries; smoked caramel with vanilla and honey; smoky oak and brown sugar.
